“Who & What You Are & Are Happy With It”

My Dad said;

“ You will not be a Man (Adult) until you know who you are, what you are and are happy with it.”

I was eight at the time, he repeated it often, daily as we milked cows.

A key to overcoming the urge to be violent, is becoming adult in this way.

“ You will not be a Man (Adult) until you know who you are, what you are and are happy with it.”

This may not be as simple as it seems. I have tried for several days, to learn how I came to know who and what I am.

It is part of how I react to what I Feel, as I see, hear life happening around me.

I feel love when my “Angel” looks at me and smiles with her whole face and eyes.

I feel good/accepted, when a stranger smiles at me in the same way.

I feel “on guard” when anyone’s eyes do not smile.

I never feel fear, even deep down, perhaps because Dad also repeated daily;

“I am better than most and equal to the rest, but somewhere there is someone better than me.”

“ You will not be a Man (Adult) until you know who you are, what you are and are happy with it.”

Are you this definition of Adult / Man?

Nuff Said !!!
