People Who’ve Made a Difference in My Life
I’ve had the joy and privilege of making a difference in the lives of several thousand souls, some I’ve seen, talked with, and countless others through my writings. In every one of the face-to-face situations, I have learned much and am thankful for it. Now I say thank you, to those not yet passed, who stuck with me and made a difference, some for years, some, during a critical short time, in my life.
We started working together in 2009 along with many others who attended the Thursday morning sessions, Barb never stopped and kept offering to help on projects during the week. I guess we sort of grew on each other, along with another…
We met at networking, meeting on the far west side and liked each other. When I put the sign in the Jolta Java, announcing the first meeting of Java Inspiration & Networking, he was in the room. I had not done anything to draw people other than posting the sign that morning. I asked Bill,
“What are you doing here?”
“I don’t know, I woke up this morning and knew I should come here.”
We sat along that Thursday and the next, then we were joined by a stranger. The following week there were five of us and it grew and grew and grew.
Bill is a skilled video cameraman. We worked together, video recording lots in the meeting room…workshops which we sold, splitting the income. He became friend, advisor…we are still together.
Nuff Said !!!
