How Long Has It Been Since You . . .

Stop and think, how long has it been since you sat for fifteen minutes and looked at the sky, without opening your mouth, or thinking about what you were going to do next?

I mean, looking, really looking, at the sky, really observing with an uncluttered mind. Give this some thought, then try doing it, yes, I mean really looking at the sky.

I did it yesterday beginning about an hour before sunset. I watched an incredible show, feeling as if it was custom made for me. The window framed it, like the curtain on a broadway stage; first it was all blue varying in hue and intensity from deep to light. Then some clouds came in, one shaped itself into a big dog snarling at a thief. As I watched, its rear end became a benign face smiling at me. These clouds were light gray, then tinged with pink, then deeper pink, then orange, finally brilliant red.

As the light dimmed I thought of my theatre days as a projectionist, slowly dimming the lights. . .

The Spirit gave me peace as it dimmed the lights.

The show that came on was my life, resuming. . .

I woke after a peaceful sleep knowing I was supposed to share this with you.

  +     +     +     +

I knew because I met The Spirit while looking at the night sky and just talking, as I had watched my Dad do. I did not ask for anything when I did this night after night, I just shared my feelings, my hopes, as I would have with a close friend. On that particular night I felt I was not alone, at one point I broke the silence, saying clearly firmly,

“I will do whatever you ask.”

After several minutes, I walked to my home. I have never been alone since except for the times when I lost my humility and thought I was pretty hot stuff. Forgetting I am The Spirits tool to help others.  It has been wonderful, joy filled, fulfilling.

You can have the same, all you have to do is look up and share . . .

Nuff Said !!!
