There Are Always Five Buying Steps
#5 in Series
Many selling courses and methodologies assume the salesperson is the controlling factor in any successful sale, nothing could be further from the truth. The key word is Successful.
A sale is successful when the Buyer is happy with the purchase, two months after taking delivery of the product or service.
This is only possible when the buyer and sales person or marketing, provide education in a manner that results in the Buyer trusting the seller. Pre-internet, this happened in face to face meetings, however, one of my clients did it by phone, never seeing their prospects. The same methodology will be successful using Internet tools/apps; provided you remember you are building a Trust relationship.
My DAD showed me how to sell before I was in High School. He taught me the above definition of a successful sale. He taught me that every sale is between humans who like and trust each other. He taught me getting and accepting an order is a formal commitment to a long term, mutually profitable relationship.
